 | Clare Bankhead's research focuses on diagnosis and monitoring of non-infectious diseases. One strand of her research is investigating symptom profiles and experiences prior to diagnosis, mainly in cancer, and another focuses on methodological and statistical issues of large or routinely collected databases.  | Susannah Fleming is a senior quantitative researcher and module coordinator for Essential Medical Statistics. Susannah's research focuses on monitoring and diagnosis, particularly using "vital signs" such as heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen levels, temperature, blood pressure, and capillary refill time. She is keen to supervise students considering research on monitoring and diagnosis and has particular experience in systematic reviewing and meta-analysis, observational research, and diagnostic accuracy studies, and so would welcome students considering any of these methodologies. |
 | Thomas Fanshaw is a Senior Statistician and the module lead for Clinical Prediction Rules. His research focuses on the development and application of statistical methods to studies in primary care, and main areas of current interest include diagnosis and clinical risk prediction, and the application of meta-analytic methods. |
