Marcy McCall MacBain

Lecturer in Evidence-Based Health Care & Senior Research Fellow
Dr Marcy McCall MacBain collaborates with the Centre of Evidence-based Medicine and the Department of Primary Care Health Sciences from her office in Geneva, Switzerland. She works to improve access to health care education by developing online education tools, and is committed to the large-scale uptake of evidence-based practices in primary care.
Marcy’s research focuses on the prevention and management of chronic diseases, with particular emphasis in the application of mixed methods for complex interventions. Other contributions explore allied health topics including mind-body medicine, nutrition, integrative health practices and their related policies. Marcy supervises students on the MSc of Evidence-based Health Care course.
