I am responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and delivery of surgical teaching and curriculum for medical students for the University of Oxford. I work closely with Miss Daljit Dhariwal and Miss Mei Nortley in the strategic planning and delivery of the surgical curriculum in years 4 and 6 of the medical course and the graduate entry course in years 2 and 4.
Together with my NDS undergraduate training colleagues, I develop and deliver basic medical education training for doctors in training and a senior faculty development programme for surgical educators.
I have an active interest in patient safety and surgical outcomes research.
