Save the Date | 5th Evidence-Based Health Care Student Skills Week 22–26 June 2026

We are delighted to invite our Evidence-Based Health Care Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy students to join us for the 5th annual Student Skills Week — a free, optional event held at the University of Oxford from 22 to 26 June 2026.

This week-long programme brings together students, programme supervisors, and leading experts in evidence-based health care for a series of hands-on skills workshops designed to support you as you move towards the conclusion of your studies. Whether you are refining your research methodology, strengthening your critical appraisal skills, or exploring how evidence shapes policy, there is something to gain for every stage of your journey.

Highlights of the 2026 Skills Week

This year's programme is particularly exciting, as it will incorporate Evidence-Based Medicine Live (EBMLive) — an internationally renowned conference bringing together researchers, clinicians, and policymakers to address the evolving landscape of evidence-based practice. The 2026 conference will focus on two pressing themes: improving the quality and reliability of evidence in a post-pandemic world, and developing rigorous, high-quality research to inform evidence-based policy.

Who is this for?

This event is open exclusively to current Evidence-Based Health Care Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy students at the University of Oxford. It is free to attend and entirely optional, though we warmly encourage all students to take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn alongside peers and expert faculty.

Further details about the programme schedule, workshops, and registration will be shared in the coming months. In the meantime, please do save the dates in your diary.

We look forward to seeing you there.
