This one day workshop gives an introduction to EBM for journal editors: setting out why EBM is important and vital to effective research dissemination.

The workshop EBM learning outcomes include:

1. Focused questions and what questions to ask
2. Levels and types of evidence
3. Critically appraise the evidence for its validity and effect, and learn how to decide what makes an outcome important?
4. Determining if submitted research makes a difference to patient care: asking does this make a difference to my patient? does this apply to my patient? Is the treatment feasible in my setting?
